Don't be afraid in failure

Persistence is an essential factor in the procedure of transmuting desire into success. The basis of persistence is the power of will.

Will power and desire, when properly combined, make an irresistible pair. Men who accumulate great fortunes are generally known as cold-blooded, and sometimes ruthless. Often they are misunderstood. What they have is will power, which they mix with persistence, and place it back their desire to insure the attainment of their objectives.

Henry Ford, a long time ago has been generally misunderstood to be ruthless and cold-blooded. This misconception grew out of him following through in all of his plans with persistence. Same as other current tycoons nowadays who had been seen as greed and cold-blooded. It's all because of this habit in pursuing success.

Those who cultivated the habit of persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how many times they are defeated, they finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder. Sometimes it appears that there is a hidden guide, to test men through all sorts of discouraging experiences. Those who pick themselves up after defeat and keep on trying arrive, and all the people around shout, "We knew you could do it!"

No one enjoy great achievement without passing the persistence test. Those who cannot take it, simply won't make the grade.

Those who cannot take in, are bountifully rewarded for their persistence. They receive, as their compensation, whatever goal they are pursuing. That is not all, they also receive something infinitely more important than material compensation; the knowledge that "Every failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent advantage".

"I've missed more than 9000 shots. I've lost almost 300 games. I've failed & over again in my life. And that why i suceed."

Michael Jordan

The persistence, is also a main ingredient of success, especially to those who always pursuing of it...For fear of failure, many live a life of fear, worry and regrets.

As muslims, we also do not recognize failure as the end of pursuing success. Because we do believe that behind the failure, there are hiding thousands of hikmah from ALLAH. It is just a challenge to see how we muslims depend to ALLAH. Now, it depends on us how we are going to use this habit in gaining success in this world and hereafter.

It is not just for worldly purpose, we need the persistence, but also in practicing Islam and the da'awah (exhortation)

The Prophets s.a.w, also had shown his persistence in doing the da'awah to the Arab Jahiliyyah. How we could see in the history, how the resistance from the Arab toward his da'awah, until they had made plan to kill the Prophet. But the Prophet s.a.w never stop doing the da'awah, because he knew ALLAH will forever taking care of him and Islam. Therefore he not surrender till the end of his life (peace upon him). And now, because of his da'awah, continued by Sahabah and the next generation of Muslims, we could see Islam all over the world. Yet, they succeed in their mission.

According to Baihaqi, the Prophet s.a.w once said when the leader of Arabs in Mecca asked him to stop doing the da'awah through his uncle, Abu Talib; O my uncle! If they put the Sun on my right hand, and the Moon on my left hand, I will not give up this mission until ALLAH gives success to me, or I'll die"
